Eid ul-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims all over the world. The festival marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. 
It is believed that the verses of Quran were revealed to Prophet Mohammad in this month. The exact date for the start of the month as well as Eid is decided by sighting the moon. 
Importance and significance of eid:
Eid ul-Fitr falls is celebrated on the first day of the month of Shawwal. The Muslims can fast all through the year. This is the only day when the Muslims are not allowed to fast. 


The first day of Shawwal, that is the Eid all depends on the sighting of Moon.
 This event is celebrated with a salat that is different than all the regular days. It has two rakat and is offered in Jamaat in open ground altogether.
It has six takbeers , three at the beginning of the first rakat and the rest before ruku in the second rakat.
Muslims offer salat along with zakat in the month of Ramadan until Eid ul Fitr arrives.
Eid is celebrated for three days and is also called meethi Eid. Following the Sunnah, life teachings of Prophet Mohammad,Muslims offer namaz of fazr as usual, take bath and put on itar.
It is necessary to eat the sweet dishes made before coming to offer the special namaz of eid.

in Indi, the people started observing fast from May 16th, 2018, while some towns also started form 17th of may.
Depending on the moon, the Muslims all over the world will celebrate eid either on 15th or 16th of June.
