Recently, the television queen Ekta Kapoor has announced the news for her upcoming daily soap inspired by K3G. She said that she will be returning with a pure family drama on TV which was once her root. Leading to this, there were rumours that she will be recreating the Karan Johar's popular movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham on TV.

According to the rumours, with this details about it, also made headlines with names like Erica Fernandes. But wait before coming to any conclusions, Ekta through a tweet clarified that her next show is not K3G. 
 
In her post, she wrote, "I’m not making Kabhi Khushi Kabhi gum! I’m making a show aboutrich family that own a pharmaceutical business ! The story is completely diff!! Soon on. SONY!"
 
Earlier, in her tweet, Ekta Kapoor wrote, “A family soap after years !!! Mostly done love stories recently withd backdrop of family!! This soap will air on SONY ...a family that eats together stays together NOOOO a family that accepts each other stays together.” 

Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor is also rebooting her iconic show, Kasauti Zindagii Kay. During an interview, when asked about her views on bringing back her own show in a completely new package, she said that the story of Kasauti is like a old wine, everyone today is facing the same thing like the plot of the story. The story is old and now as the new era begins the social stigmas change, widow marriage is no longer a stigma today or divorces for that matter, so once that stigma goes and social acceptability comes.
