Bollywood veteran film producer Ekta Kapoor may be trying different genres today but people are well aware that she started her career with daily soap shows. She used to make shows on family drama and her shows also became very popular. During this phase of lockdown, Ekta has shared a throwback video of her from her college days. Ekta has told how she likes to look at the behaviour of people. In the video, Ekta told, "I like people. I am a very private person myself but I notice their behaviour how they live I look at small things."

"I have never been in a joint family, but all the shows that I have made are all about the joint family. What kind of atmosphere would it be if people lived in the joint family? What kind of drama can be created there? "Obviously, the show of Ekta shows the real behaviour of some people but to a large extent, everything is imaginary". Ekta wrote in the caption of the video," "In 2013, I went to Harvard for #OPM COURSE. When the Harvard students came to know that I had come there, they asked me for an interview. Staying at University and Boston was fun but also a disappointment. Even though presidents and owners of organizations around the world were present there, the number of women was surprisingly low, perhaps less than ten percent. The reason for this is that many women, like their male counterparts, could not take such long leave from home. "
