Ekta Kapoor and her mother, Shobha Kapoor, found themselves in legal trouble due to their web series, XXX.

According to Press Trust of India, a court in Bihar's Begusarai district reportedly issued an arrest warrant for the pair on charges that they insulted soldiers and hurt the feelings of their family members in the web series. The television network, ALTBalaji, which is owned by Ekta Kapoor's production company Balaji Telefilms, broadcast the series. The business has a connection to Shobha Kapoor.

Judge Vikas Kumar issued the warrants as a result of a complaint made by Begusarai, Bihar resident and ex-serviceman Shambhu Kumar. "They (the Kapoors) had received a summons from the court requesting their presence in relation to the matter. However, they (the Kapoors) told the court that some of the series' scenes had been cut after the objection.
