Baripada: Today, with the doubt of practising witchcraft, a tribal couple was hacked to death at Kathachua Ambadahi village in Mayurbhanj district.
According to Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Udala Suresh Patra said, that some unknown persons killed Hadi Purty 60 years old and his wife Madei Purty 55 years old when they were asleep.
Police have detained a person for interrogation, and the reason behind killing might be the suspicion of their practising black magic.
