Patna: Chirag Paswan has finally formed a new political party called Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas). His party symbol will be a helicopter. Uncle Pashupati Paras had deposed Chirag, son of his brother late Ram Vilas Paswan, from the Lok Janshakti Party. Chirag Paswan has now formed a new party.

With this, the Election Commission has allowed Chirag's party and symbol. The Election Commission has also allotted a new party and election symbol to Pashupati Paras. His party will be named Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party. They have been given the election symbol of the sewing machine. The Election Commission had frozen the party's name and election symbol in view of the dispute between Chirag Paswan and Pashupati Paras over the LJP. Thereafter, an application was made by both sides to the Commission regarding the new name and symbol. 

On the other hand, the Commission has allotted the name of Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party to Pashupati Paras. At the same time, his party's new election symbol will be the sewing machine. Chirag Paswan and Pashupati Paras were asked to hand over the names of different parties over the bypolls to two seats in Bihar. It may be recalled that in June this year, Pashupati Paras had captured nephew Chirag Paswan after he was ousted from the party.
