For up coming Assembly elections in Kerala, West Bengal, Puducherry, Assam and Tamil Nadu Election Commission is going to announce dates today. Election Commission is like to expected to hold press conferences today afternoon.

 Polling is likely to be held in five to six phases between April and mid- May.  As per the reports 234 and 294 assemble seats, Assam, Kerela and Pudcherry is expected with two-phase polling and Tamil Nadu and West Bengal respectively are likely to have three phase polling.  

After continues debacles in last two election first in Delhi and another is in Bihar this assembly elections is very important for BJP lead NDA. As a big win in these states will help it in achieving  better  numbers in Rajya Sabha.

 As per available information the polls would held in April-May. The term of five phases in the end of the month.
