New Delhi: The results of the assembly elections in five states are coming out and big leaders are facing defeats. Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi has lost the elections from both his seats Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has also lost from the Khatima assembly seat.

If we talk about the Chief Ministers of the other three states, Manipur CM N Biren Singh has won from the Heingang seat, Goa CM Pramod Sawant has also won from Sankevelim seat. At the same time, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has also won from his Gorakhpur city seat by 1 lakh 2 thousand votes. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has lost the election from his seat Khatima by almost 6000 votes. Congress candidate Bhuvan Kapri has defeated him.

Even though Pushkar Dhami has lost the election, but the BJP is forming the government in the state. The BJP seems to be getting around 48 seats and the Congress is shrinking to less than 20, while in Goa too, Pramod Sawant has claimed that he is going to form his own government and he will be accompanied by MGP and independents.
