Lucknow: The results of the assembly elections in five states are being declared today. The people of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Goa and Punjab used their votes. Polling was held in 403 seats of UP, 117 in Punjab, 40 in Goa, 70 in Uttarakhand and 60 in Manipur. This means that a total of 690 seats will be counted today. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya tweeted on the initial trends and wrote, "In UP, people are winning and hooliganism is losing.
