Unfortunately, a few roadblocks have prevented the bike from finding its way into our highways thus far. Thankfully, it appears that the firm is now ready to offer the new electric bike in India; we say this since the company has launched a fresh new teaser of the Ultraviolette F77 electric bike in the country.

In November 2019, the Ultraviolette F77, a fully-faired electric bike, was released in India at a price of 3 lakh (on-road). The bike will come in three different colours: Lightning, Shadow, and Laser. It has a 5.0-inch colour TFT touchscreen, three riding modes, LTE connectivity, and GPS location to enable a variety of connectivity capabilities, such as finding the bike, preventative maintenance, and remote vehicle lock-down, among others.

Modular Battery technology and a 90 Nm all-electric motor are used in the new electric bike. The F77 EV, according to the manufacturer, can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and reach a peak speed of 140 km/h. On a single charge, the Ultraviolette F77 is said to have a city riding range of 130 to 150 kilometres.

In regards of charging, the Ultraviolette F77 has a CCS Type-2 charging connector that supports both AC and DC charging. The bike's battery can be charged from 0% to 80% in 50 minutes, and from 0% to 100% in 90 minutes, thanks to the rapid charger. The battery is charged to 80 percent in 3 hours and to 100 percent in 5 hours with the normal charger.
