New Delhi: Tesla CEO Elon Musk is once again in the headlines. Right now the matter was going on to buy Twitter and then withdraw from the deal that he sold millions of shares of Tesla in the meantime. According to media reports, Musk has sold 7.92 million (79 lakh) shares worth $6.88 billion. This information has been revealed by quoting financial filings. The filing shows that Elon Musk transacted these shares between August 5 and August 9.

Let us know that the sale of shares is surprising because Musk has said earlier that he has no idea about selling Tesla. In such a situation, the question arises why did they sell such a huge amount of shares? In late April this year, Elon Musk said on social media that "there are no plans to sell Tesla in the future". While the reality is that in the same week's financial planning i.e. SEC filing, it was revealed that Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is selling shares of his electric car company in bulk. The sale was reported to be worth $8.4 billion.

Elon Musk, popularly known as Senti Billionaires, is in the headlines these days for the ongoing case with Twitter. The social networking giant had a contract to acquire and was set for $44 billion at $54.20 per share. However, Musk put the deal on the back burner. After this, Twitter moved the court against him.
