The emirate, the leading international airline company cancelled the decision to end the option of 'Hindu Meals' in the flights. The company says that it has taken this step on the basis of customer feedback.
One day earlier, the company had announced that it was ending the option of serving 'Hindu Meals' on its flights and its Hindu travellers could now choose from 'Regional speciality vegetarians and other specialities'.
In a statement on Sunday, the company said, on the basis of comments and opinions received from the clients, the Emirates affirms the continuation of the option of 'Hindu Meals' in their flights. It says that this will facilitate its Hindu travellers. This Dubai company operates flights to many Indian cities.
Earlier on Tuesday, the company had said in a statement that, according to regular reviews of available products and services to the customers, Emirates affirms closure of alternative Hindu Meals closure.
"As part of our continuous review of the products and services available to customers, Emirates can confirm that it will discontinue the Hindu meal option. We constantly review our offering, taking into consideration customer uptake and feedback. This helps us improve service efficiencies," the released statement read.
However, the airline stated that Hindu passengers would still be able to decide from a variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian regionally-inspired meals. But now, it has withdrawn its decision on the same.
