New Delhi: Emraan Hashmi's forthcoming movie 'Cheat India' tells the expose of the underbelly of the Indian education system and how much bribery and greed has taken over. The trailer of the movie showed Emraan playing the role of a political supporter, especially one  who prepared to engage in crime or violence by way of service. He strikes deals between the rich students and the needy, brainy ones, to dishonestly appear for others' at examinations.

It must say, the trailer generated great buzz and Emraan received great positive reception for his acting.

As per most recent reports, the makers have decided to release the movie, a week ahead of its scheduled date. 'Cheat India', which was at first scheduled to release on January 25, will as a replacement for release on January 18, 2019. Maybe, the decision has been taken to turn away a clash with Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer 'Thackeray'.

The shooting of the film was ended in September this year. Earlier, while announcing the project, the 39-year-old had stated that the film will take a surprising look at the crimes in the Indian education system 'which has created a parallel flora and fauna infested with a mafia of sorts'. This is the second film from Hashmi’s production house- Emraan Hashmi Films.
