An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Monday. Thr gunbattle took place in the Parimpora area as per the officials report.
The police officials said “Encounter started at Malhoora, Parimpora area of Srinagar. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice.” The gunfight took place after a joint team of police and the army cordoned off the area. The officials launched a search operation in area suspected. Security forces had got specific information about the presence of terrorists hiding in the area.
As per the information contained, the security forces zeroed in on the spot where terrorists were hiding. Then they came under a heavy volume of fire that triggered the encounter.
