New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh CM and senior Congress leader Kamal Nath's nephew Ratul Puri has been arrested in Rs 354 crore bank fraud case. The CBI had registered a case in this regard on Saturday. Ratul was detained by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday morning.
On the other hand, Ratul Puri has been granted anticipatory bail in the Augusta Westland helicopter scam case. On Saturday, the CBI had registered a case against Ratul Puri, the nephew of CM Kamal Nath of Madhya Pradesh and the then executive director of Moser Baier.
Apart from Ratul Puri, Managing Director of MBIL, Deepak Puri, full-time Director at the company, his wife Neeta Puri, former Executive Director of MBIL, Ratul Puri, Director Sanjay Jain, Vineet Sharma, and other unidentified employees and individuals were cheated, forged and criminal. A case of misbehavior and criminal conspiracy was registered. Ratul Puri is also under investigation in the Augusta Westland helicopter scam case. Ratul Puri is accused of allegedly taking bribes through his company.
