New Delhi: The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) conducted a raid at the house of Yes Bank former CEO Rana Kapoor on Friday night. During the raid, the ED investigated documents related to Yes Bank. A lookout notice has been issued against Rana Kapoor so that he cannot go out of the country. All these actions are taking place due to the complaint of PMC bank. This robbery of banks took place during UAPA 1, and UPA-2.

Earlier, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has assured Yes Bank customers that no consumer's money will be lost. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also said that SBI is investing in Yes Bank and the interest of every customer will be respected, they will not be allowed to suffer losses. It is also being told that there will be no effect on the salary of the employees working in Yes Bank for the next one year.

Sitharaman told the RBI, 'Who missed? Who has done any wrong in decision making, check it and tell? On why the condition of the bank happened, Nirmala Sitharaman said that it is a matter of corporate governance. Care was not taken in giving loan. Risky loans were given, insider trading took place. The truth came out when the CBI investigation was also held. Hence RBI was taking steps like fixing the bank, changing the board of directors, bringing in a new CEO since 2018, but it was decided in January that big steps will have to be taken.
