Patna: A tragic incident has been reported from Bihar's Danapur in which an engineer who returned from abroad has been murdered. Police are yet to ascertain the cause of his murder. He came home from abroad to celebrate Eid. He has been brutally murdered by the cooker. The police are still searching for the cause of the murder.

Police rushed to the spot as soon as they came to know about the case. The deceased had returned to his home in Phulwari on Sunday while travelling from abroad via Delhi. The incident took place in the Karbala Taj Nagar area of Phulwari. The deceased has been identified as Zafaruddin alias Salahuddin.

The police are interrogating the family members of the deceased. The reasons for the murder are being ascertained. The deceased worked as an engineer abroad. He was constructing his house in Karbala Taj Nagar. It is being told that he also had a fight with his wife over something last night. Phulwari Sharif police station in-charge Ikrar Ahmed said that police immediately rushed to the spot after the news of the killing. They are investigating the case. The man was killed with a cooker. There are injury marks of a cooker on his head. A cooker has been seized which has blood on it. The entire case will be revealed only after investigation. The body has been sent for postmortem.
