There is a piece of big news to hear from the world of football. Russian billionaire businessman Roman Abramovich is about to sell his legendary English football club, Chelsea. Roman bought the club in 2003. After which he helped this club win 19 Major trophies. Chelsea's team has also been the winner of the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League. It was called the world's largest football league played in Europe.

Abramovich, said: "I want to talk about the speculations that have been going on in the media for a long time. People were also seen talking about Chelsea over my ownership. I have said many times before that I have always decided on the benefit of the club. That is what I am going to do in the present situation also.'' In this regard, Abramovich has further said that - I have decided to sell the Chelsea club. I think that's going to be good for this club, fans, workers here, sponsors and partners of the club right now. There cannot be hasty in selling the club but will be done under a process.

Continuing his talk, Abramovich said- I will not speak to repay any loan. Buying Chelsea is never business-like or about money for me, but it's always been my passion for the game and the club. Along with this, I have instructed my team to set up a charitable foundation.

Abramovich says the benefits from the sale are going to help Ukraine's wounded and victims. With that amount, money will be provided to the victims immediately and they are going to be helped. It was a very difficult decision for me to sell this club. Leaving Chelsea like this is causing me a lot of pain.
