New Delhi [India], Oct 30 (NT): Offering festive relief to the consumers, the fuel prices continued to decrease on Tuesday. Petrol and diesel are now being sold at Rs 79.55 and Rs Rs 73.78 per litre respectively in the national capital Delhi.

If making comparision to Monday, petrol and diesel prices witnessed a cut of 20 and seven paise respectively in Delhi on Tuesday.

The leading news agency ANI on microblogging website Twitter wrote the today's Fuel price chart in Delhi and Mumbai as ,"Petrol & diesel prices in #Delhi today are Rs 79.55 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.20) & Rs 73.78 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.07), respectively. Petrol & diesel prices in #Mumbai today are Rs 85.04 per litre(decrease by Rs 0.20) &Rs 77.32 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.08), respectively".

Meanwhile, in the financial capital Mumbai, petrol and diesel are today being sold at Rs 85.04 as it is decreased by 20 paise and Rs 77.32 as it is decreased by eight paise respectively.

Worth mention here Fuel prices had earlier witnessed a harsh increase in the country. These increased prices were burning a hole in the common commuter's pocket. However, the PM Modi led Central Government earlier this month announced a decrease of Rs 2.50 per litre on both petrol and diesel prices after cut excise duty on the commodity by Rs 1.50 per litre.
