It has been a great year for the Hindi entertainment industry with films and television shows performing extremely well globally. And it is that time of the year when search engine giant Google has released its top trends for 2017.

The best part is that from India we have 'Bigg Boss', 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' and 'The Kapil Sharma Show' featuring in the global trends list. Yes! Google has separate categories for top trends and in TV Shows section, Bigg Boss is at number 6 spot whereas 'The Kapil Sharma Show' enjoys the 9th position. The top spot has been bagged by 'Stranger Things'. In the 'Movies' category, 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' is at number 7 whereas top place is taken by IT. 'Wonder Woman' is at number 2 in the list.

Interestingly, 'Bigg Boss 11' was the most searched keyword as far as TV shows are concerned in Yahoo's annual list this year as well and SS Rajamouli's magnum opus 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' starring Prabhas undoubtedly has made a mark globally. Also, comedian-actor Kapil Sharma's popularity has grown by leaps and bounds. 'The Kapil Sharma Show' might have taken a brief sabbatical but looks like now the makers will surely wanna get going and in a big way for 2018.
