Patna: A shocking incident has come to light from Bihar's capital Patna. A portion of the bridge has been rotten due to people toileting on the bridge built at Rajendra Nagar railway station. It is being said that people coming from the fishermen's side and going towards Kankarbagh keep toileting on this bridge. Due to this, a part of the iron on the bridge became badly rotten. Locals say the bridge has been made a toilet point. People come and go from anywhere, but they do toilets under this bridge.

At the same time, when the media tried to know from the people the reason for toileting on the bridge, people started making strange excuses. Someone said there was a stone in the kidney, someone said that he had not gone to the toilet for a long time. Some admitted their mistake and then vowed not to do so again on the bridge. This bridge of the railway line passes through Rajendra Nagar's side. People urinate right in the middle of the bridge, due to which a part of the iron in the bridge got badly damaged due to the acid of the toilet. Now, the Railways is removing that bad part and getting it repaired.

It is clearly written on the bridge- "If caught doing toilets in this place, a fine of Rs 500 will have to be paid.'' However, it has not been seriously implemented. The general public says that there is a need to strictly enforce this by enacting a serious law to prevent this. Just as the penalty law is followed for prohibition and non-wearing of helmets, it needs to be strictly enforced.
