New Delhi: The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has deposited interest at the rate of 8.50% in the accounts of more than 23.34 crore subscribers for the financial year 2020-21. and EPFO has tweeted about this. You can see PFO has tweeted and wrote, 'So far in the financial year 2020-21, money has been transferred at the rate of 8.50 percent to the accounts of 23.44 crore people.' Now you can check your PF account balance by following some easy steps.
How to check: You can check your PF balance on EPFO website and UMANG app of Government of India. You will need UAN number to log in here. If you want, you can check your balance through SMS. If your UAN number is registered with EPFO then you can get your PF balance details through message. Yes, for this you have to type EPFOHO and send it to 7738299899. At the same time, after this you will receive the details of PF through message. If you want, you can check the balance through Missed Call. But it is necessary to have your UAN, PAN and Aadhaar linked.
If interest does not come, then complain here- visit https://epfigms.gov.in/ website. Click on Register Grievance here. After this choose your status among PF Member, EPF Pensioner, Employer, Others. Now select PF member for complaint related to PF account. After all these processes are completed, enter UAN number and security code and click on Get Details.
Now the personal information will be revealed from the account linked to the UAN. After that click on Get OTP. Now OTP will come on your registered mobile number. As soon as the OTP comes, you submit it. After that fill in personal details and click on the PF number related to which the complaint is to be lodged. Now a pop up will come, here you have to choose one of the option PF Officer, Employer, Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme or Ex-Pension. Upload the details and required documents and click on submit. Now finally your complaint will be registered and complaint registration number will come on the registered mobile number and email.
