New Delhi: In this financial year i.e. 2019-20, till the month of November, a total of 62 lakh new jobs have been generated. The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has claimed this. According to the data released by EPFO, only 11.62 lakh people have got jobs in the formal sector only in the month of November. It has increased compared to a year ago.
No improvement in FMCG sector even this year, growth rate to be 9 to 10 percent
A total of 61.12 lakh jobs were created in the financial year 2018-19, while in this financial year till November only 62.38 lakh people have been given jobs. That is, it has increased well in comparison to the previous year. EPFO says that only 4.03 lakh jobs were created in November 2018. It is noteworthy that EPFO releases the data of formal sector jobs based on the subscription of PF and other social security schemes. However, these figures are also early and will be amended now. In all the amendments made so far, it is seen that there is some drop in the figures.

According to the data, between September 2017 and November 2019, 1.39 crore new people have been added to social security schemes like EPFO's PF. This indicates that in the last 27 months more jobs have been received in the formal sector. Of these, 15.53 lakh jobs have been created between September 2017 to March 2018.
