eSanjeevani Helath ministry's telemedicine service completed 6 lakh tele-consultations

As a milestone achievement esanjeevani Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s telemedicine initiative has completed 6 Lakh tele consultations. In the last 15 days, around 1 Lakh consultations were made. In the 'Diigital India' initiative by PM, the eSanjeevani digital platform has proved its usefulness and easy access for those seeking healthcare services in the times like COVID. 

Healthoptim to find vulnerability to COVID-19

States like Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Gujarat run eSanjeevani OPD for 12 hours a day and 7 days a week. It is accessible to people in 27 States/UTs, more than 6000 doctors mans 217 online OPDs in patient to doctor telemedicine model which is eSanjeevaniOPD. eSanjeevani is operating at around 4000 Health & Wellness Centers even in smaller towns and rural areas are linked with over 175 hubs set up at District Hospitals and Medical colleges. The current data is 8500 consultations per day by eSanjeevani. When OPDs  across the country were shutdown the Union Health Ministry on 13th of April 2020 launched its first eSanjeevani OPD.
