Esha Deol blessed with a baby girl last year in October. Since then, her life revolves around her daughter and her social media pages say it all. 

If we talk about actress work commitments then, Esha's last movie appearance was the 2011 film Tell Me O Kkhuda which was helmed by her mom Hema Malini.  Now, she is all set to return to acting with a short film titled Cakewalk.
 
The film will be directed by Hema Malini’s biographer Ram Kamal Mukherjee and Esha will be seen playing the role of a chef. 
 
Talking about it, Esha said to a leading daily, "The idea of making a film came into Ram Kamal’s mind while he was interviewing me for his book on my mother."
 
Ram said, "I always wanted to tell a story, it was just a matter of time. It was actually Esha who inspired me to direct the film."
 
The short film will be co-directed by Abhra Chakraborty and will be shot towards the end of March 2018. 

Esha Deol is an Indian film actress and model who predominantly appears in Hindi films. Daughter of actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Deol made her debut in Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe (2002) and was praised for her performance which earned her numerous awards and nominations including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
