June 3, 2016:One more lion has died at the Etawah Lion Safari, in a delay to the vision project of Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav which has seen three adult big cats and five cubs expire since 2014.
Deputy director of Etawah Lion Safari Sanjay Srivastava said , “the lion, Kuber, was brought from Lucknow zoological garden in 2014.”
He said, “the lion was ill since April 16 and was being treated by a team of doctors, but he died yesterday”
Now, in the safari only three lions and four lionesses left.
