Luxury carmaker Audi has developed the concept of its electric scooter e-tron, inspired by the skateboard. Users can control it through its handlebar. Moreover, its ride-boarders can also shift it from their feet and weight to control its movements, just as the skateboard is controlled. The Audi E-Tron scooter weighs just 12 kilograms and can be easily folded and moved anywhere.

For your information, the Audi e-tron has a speed of 20kmph and can only run 20 km in a single charge. It also features headlight, daytime running lights, rear light, and brake light. It also includes a Bluetooth interface to connect to a smartphone, which allows users to avoid it being stolen. Audi will land it in the global market by 2020 and is expected to cost around Rs 1.50 lakh. It is also believed that the company can gift the scooter to those who buy Audi e-tron SUVs. It can also be easily charged through a shocker in an electric car.

The new Audi e-tron on a single charge offers a range of 400 km and takes 5.7 seconds to catch a speed of 0 to 100kmph. Its top speed is 200kmph. For e-Tron, the company is offering AC and DC charging options. It takes 4.5 to 8.5 hours for a full charge and is dependent on two charger variants 11W and 22W. It takes 40 minutes for the e-Tron to be fully charged via DC charge. The Audi e-Tron SUV has two electric motors in each axle. The front is powered by a 125 kW motor and a 140 kW motor at the rear and the two motors generate 355bhp and 561Nm of torque. In addition, its power on Boost mode goes up to 408bhp.
