Veterean actor Anupam Kher’s mother Dulari Kher is “over the moon” after getting a response from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a video, wherein she sang praises for Mr Modi and his leadership.

In Instagram post on Saturday, Anupam’s mother wanted him to read out Modi’s response to her again and again. The actor thanked the PM for making his mother happy. He revealed that she got “over ambitious” and demanded a telephonic conversation with Modi. Anupam’s post read, “Mom is over the moon from the time I told her that Prime Minister @narendramodi has thanked her on @Twitter for her confidence in him & for her blessings. She kept saying excitingly,“दोबारा पढ़कर सुना”(Read it out again). Thank you Sir for making her so happy . But then she got over ambitious & said,”चल फ़ोन पे बात करा।”( Ok! Make me speak to him on the phone) #DulariRocks”

In the video, Dulari compared Modi to her son. “Modi mujhe bohot achcha lagta hai, jaise tu hai na, vaisa hai,” she can be heard saying. She also expressed her anger over Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s statement wherein he had called Modi “chor” (thief). The highlight of the video, though, is when she says, “दस हाथ होते तो भी उसी को वोट डालती” (Even if I had ten hands, each hand would have voted for Modi).
Anupam Kher is a staunch supporter of Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party. His wife Kirron Kher is a BJP MP from Chandigarh.
