New Delhi: Several claims have been made recently about PM Narendra Modi's decline in popularity in the Corona crisis, but a survey report says he is still the first among the most loved leaders in the world. According to the report, Prime Minister Modi's popularity remains intact and he is ahead of leaders of many of the world's largest countries in this regard. According to a survey conducted by the US data intelligence firm, PM Modi's global approval rating is 66 per cent, ahead of other global leaders.

Morning Consult data shows that Prime Minister Modi is ahead of other world leaders from 13 countries, including the US, UK, Russia, Australia, Canada, Brazil, France and Germany, even after the fall in popularity ratings due to the second wave of epidemics. According to the survey, his approval rating has declined due to the second wave of corona, but he is still at the top of the world and has performed better than other global leaders due to the epidemic. The approval rating of only three world leaders is above 60, with Prime Minister Modi at the top.

With a survey of 2,126 adults in India, the Morning Consult Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker has shown 66 per cent approval for India's PM Modi, while 28 per cent have rejected him. The tracker was updated on Thursday before the tracker was updated on June 17. According to Morning Consult, in August 2019, when the Modi government struck down Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, his approval rating was 82 per cent and the rejection rating was only 11 per cent.
