Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 is airing this month on August 7 (Sunday) and today (August 3) the show was shot in the presence of host Amitabh Bachchan.

He was present along with the show makers and about the coming season he said, “Not being able to contact the participants, not being able to greet them or hold their hands, or go to their seat, and was missing in the few past years. The distance was a bit difficult. It’s wonderful to have that connect back once again. We are able to feel a bit human and normal. Some of the boundation we had previously has now been cancelled.”

“I feel stunned and inspired listening the stories of a few participants. It makes me ask, ‘What am I doing?’ Each and every person who comes to the show has contributed in making this show a hit in some way or the other,” he said.

When questioned about the changes that Big B has witnessed as an anchor, he said, “The show has always remained the same, because legally, we can’t change the format technically. The anchors on the other regional formats have changed.”

“It’s sharing of wisdom and knowledge, the entire family gets to sit and see. The family plays the game among themselves when kids question parents to answer and vice versa. It’s a great diversion for the people, who are not able to step out. They can just sit and see on television,” he shared when asked about KBC’s entertainment.

He further opened about how he prepares for the show saying, “Everyday is horrifying regarding how I should host the show. The viewers taking part in the show inspires me. I thank them every day as I get in.”

He also expressed his gratitude for each and every crew, technician and members connected in making of the show and said, “The percentage of ladies working in the show is equal and that’s fantastic.”

The show will air with a special episode in presence of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, Kargil War veteran Major D.P Singh, Col. Mitali Madhumita (first woman officer in the Indian Army) to win Sena Medal Gaallantry, Padma Vibhushan sportsperson MC Mary Kom, and Padma Shri Sunil Chhetri (Footballer).
