The government announced on Tuesday that all people above the age of 45 years in the country are going to be eligible for the anti-corona vaccine. As per the data till Tuesday, 4,84,94,594 people have been vaccinated in the country so far. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, after the Union cabinet meeting, appealed to the people to register and vaccinate the dose of coronavirus vaccine. The cabinet also decided that the second dose of the vaccine can be taken between 4 to 8 weeks on the advice of doctors. A record 32.5 lakh doses of coronavirus vaccines have also been given in the last 24 hours. Now, from March one, people above the age of 60 years and more than 45 years of age are being vaccinated.
Cases getting doubled quickly: The duration of the covid-19 case rise in India was 504.4 days on March 1, which decreased to 202.3 days on March 23. The Central Health Department said on Tuesday that out of the new cases, 80.90 percent are from only 6 states. In the last 24 hours, 40,715 new cases of corona were reported, out of which 80.90 percent were from Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Tamil Nadu.
40 people have been found infected with coronavirus in an IT company located in its corridor, Chennai. 364 contacts detected. Out of these, 40 were infected. The vaccination campaign is going to be conducted on a large scale from 1st April.
