Voting has started for the third phase in West Bengal today. Voting is being done on 31 seats in Bengal today. As soon as the polling started, a series of allegations and counter-allegations have started in the BJP and TMC. The TMC has accused the polling booth of harassing voters, while the BJP leader alleges that an EVM has been found outside the TMC leader's house.

Struggle over getting EVM at TMC leader's house: -

BJP candidate Chiran Berra from Uluberia North has alleged that EVM and VVPAT machines have been found at TMC leader Gautam Ghosh's house the night before the polling. The BJP leader has accused TMC of manipulating the election. Late in the night, the atmosphere here was disturbed after which the security forces had to baton.

The Election Commission has started taking action after the EVM was found near the TMC leader's house. A sector officer has been suspended here. The Election Commission has to say that it was a reserve EVM, which was not being used in voting. The Election Commission says that Sector Officer Tapan Sarkar had gone to his relative's house to sleep with EVM, which has broken the rules.

TMC and BJP accuse each other: -

After the polling started on Tuesday morning, TMC has accused the EVM of disturbing the polling booth at several places and not letting people go.

- TMC has accused the polling booths of other assembly seats including Diamond Harbor, Uluberia North, Arambagh, Magaraghat West. The TMC says that the security forces here are harassing the voters, in addition to which the BJP workers have gathered in a 100-meter area of ​​the polling booth in large numbers.

- BJP has alleged that TMC cadres have fired and torn their posters in the Raidighi assembly. Apart from this, in the midst of voting in Bengal, BJP has accused that TMC workers have entered booth number 189 of Raidighi and are harassing the voters.

It has been learned that this is the third phase of voting in Bengal. There has been a continuous round of allegations and counter-allegations between the TMC and the BJP even in the earlier voting. A total of 31 seats are being cast in the third phase.
