With all the names like 'Young India', 'New India', the political parties are imagining changing the country, but according to a study by the US Bureau of Population Reference Bureau, all these plans will remain a dream because in the country by 2050, the number of people above 65 years of age will go up to three times and our country will be counted in the countries with elderly people. According to the study, India's population is projected to reach 170 million by 2050, under which the number of children (children below the age of 15 years) will be reduced by 20 percent in the next 32 years, whereas those above 65 years of age The number will increase by three times.

According to PRB, which provides demographic data globally, the growth rate of the country's children is 28 percent in 2018, which will be reduced to 19 percent in 2050. Against this, the ratio of growth of more than 65 years will increase from six to 13 percent. PRB has gathered this data of dependence in different countries and regions.

In the study of the Population Reference Bureau, during the next 32 years, the number of elderly people in the country increased the number of elderly people, Dr. G. S. G., a general practitioner of Max Multi-Specialty Center located at Panchal Park. Grewal told IANS, Yes, that's right, because it is an age of high anticipation of decreasing fertility and living life.

Recently, Union Minister of State for Health, Shri Anupriya Patel had told in the Lok Sabha that the elderly population is expected to reach 34 million by 2050. This number is slightly higher than the UN estimates of 31.68 million, which gives a clear indication that India is getting older than expected. Advancement in health education has played an important role in bringing about change in this approach. Describing the statement made in the Parliament of Union Health Minister, Dr. G.S. Grewal said, this is correct because the rate of increase in the number of elderly population is more than the increase in the number of overall population.
