This fort built by the Portuguese to save its state from the Dutch colonists and Maratha rulers in the seventeenth century attracts millions of tourists. Better yet, the fort of Aguada and its lighthouse gives a wonderful view of the Arabian Sea.

The ancient beach of Aguada and the five-star resort surrounded by Taj Vivanta is worth to watch. Tourists staying in Taj Vivanta spend a little more than can experience a unique local experience, in contrast to the experience of five-star resorts and with a mixture of holidays in India, from the views of the people here.

Aguada's fort and Aguada Beach are at a short distance from the famous Candolim Beach. In the evening, the lanes surrounding the Aguada Fort turn into kabaddi markets where cheap and ethnic furnishings and clothes are found. From the fort of Aguada, the people can easily reach to the rest Goa and it is advisable to stay here after coming to Goa.

You can reach Aguada by renting a car or taxi from the airport or railway station. You will be able to reach the Aguada Fort with the help of signboards if you are coming here with your own car.
