An improvised explosive device was detected by the security forces on Monday in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. The real conducted after a grenade attack on a security forces’ party deployed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama, officials said.
In the attack around nine people were injured on Sunday. The blast occurred near a bus stand in Tral in South Kashmir’s Awantipora. Police control room Awantipora said that terrorists lobbed a grenade towards a naka party of police and CRPF which missed the target but injured civilians. Now, in the recent teal made by troops, sources said an IED weighing 5-7 Kgs was detected by the security forces in Saimu area of Tral tehsil. According to the informationl, bomb disposal squad has been called to defuse the IED. The area has been cordoned off.
Talking about the Sunday’s grenade attack, the cause of the blast is being ascertained by officials. The security forces have launched a search operation to trace the attackers.
