External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj leaves for a 4 nations tour

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj left for the tour of four countries on Sunday morning. She is going on a trip to Italy, France, Luxembourg and Belgium. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen India's diplomatic relations with European countries.   

The Ministry of External Affairs said that the purpose of the visit from 17th to 23rd June is to have a broad dialogue on global, regional and bilateral issues with political leadership and strengthen diplomatic relations with the EU.

Sushma will go first to Italy, where Giuseppe Conte will become the first major political dialogue between the two countries after Italy's new prime minister was appointed.  Sushma will not only meet Conte but also meet Enzo Moavero Milanesi. After this, the Foreign Minister will visit France on June 18-19. They will be in Luxembourg on June 19-20 and in Belgium on June 20-23. 

She also visited the African nation where she participated in the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) Foreign Ministers' meeting which was held on June 4 which will strengthen the relations with the foreign countries. Sushma Swaraj has always been active and has worked to maintain good relations with external affair ministers of the foreign country.
