Agartala: Former Tripura chief minister Manik Sarkar urged the elders to get ready to leave the chairs and motivate more youths to join the party. He has stressed that young leaders should promote as It’s not possible for old leader to carry the works with the same ability as a young man because it’s a natural process.

Addressing people at 101st foundation of the CPI(M) on Saturday at Agartala, Sarkar stressed on the reshuffling of the party with the young generation and urged the elders to get ready to leave the chairs and motivate more youths to join the party. “It’s not possible that a person in his old age can carry the works with the same ability as a young man because it’s a natural process. So it has become crucial to keep the balance and to prepare the next generation and promote the young figures. Seniors will have to leave your current position. I will not leave my chair in my whole life…is very wrong thinking and harmful for the party."  said Sarkar who is a politburo member of CPI(M).

The former CM also stressed on fighting with Communist ideology and to restore democracy by defeating the communal forces in the country. He urged the state party workers to raise the local issues as much as they can after categorising them with area-wise. He said that Communist ideology should not have to wait for centuries to get fulfilled but from now with full passion, the success of communism to be felt.
