Patna: During his morning stroll in Bihar's Begusarai, an unidentified group of individuals tragically killed a retired teacher. The victim, identified as Jawahar Chaudhary, aged 70 and hailing from Fateha village, fell victim to the incident. The attack took place as he was en route from his village to Fateha Railway Station. The assailants, wearing masks and riding a motorcycle, fired at him.

Interestingly, Chaudhary had previously been a witness to his son's murder back in February 2021. The police promptly launched an investigation into the matter upon receiving news of the incident. Additionally, an officer suggested that the motive behind the murder might be linked to a land dispute. This occurrence comes only a few days after a journalist was fatally shot in his residence in Raniganj, situated in the Araria district.

In a separate and unrelated event, a confrontation over parking resulted in the shooting of three individuals. Regrettably, one of the victims succumbed to his injuries the previous night in the Bachhwara district.
