Fabric India, a company involved in clothing, home decor and lifestyle products, is currently in the news. Actually It is currently a Fab India festive season campaign. As part of the information received, Fab India has launched a 'Celebration-e-Custom' campaign on festivals, even as Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BjYM) National President Tejashwi Surya has termed it as wrong. Deepawali is not 'Celebration-e-Custom', he says. You can see Fab India in a tweet saying, "As we welcome the festival of love and light, Celebration-e-Riaz by FabIndia is a collection that beautifully pays tribute to Indian culture.''

In fact, Fab India launched the 'Celebration-e-Custom' campaign and said in a Vougue report: "As we welcome the festival of love and light, 'Celebration-e-Riaz' by FabIndia is a collection that beautifully pays tribute to Indian culture; A collection that embraces the colour, atmosphere and personality of the country. Moreover, Fab India said, "This Diwali more than ever we are grateful to all of us for being surrounded by friends and family. This collection symbolizes the spirit of belonging, urging you to adopt crafts. There is no reason why celebrating your roots by respecting our artisans is not part of everyday conversations.'

But Fab India's style and celebration-e-custom campaign Padshree and Manipal global education chairman Mohandas Pai did not like it. He said, "Fab India's very shameful statement on Deepawali! It's a Hindu religious festival like Christmas and Eid is for others! Such a statement shows a deliberate attempt to end a religious festival!' In the next tweet, Mohandas Pai replied to a user, 'You don't understand! Using foreign words for a Hindu festival is a deliberate attempt to take away our heritage and destroy it! You can use any brand name after Diwali, but at the moment, linking it to Diwali reflects a distorted mindset!'

Then, BjYM National President Tejashwi Surya said, "Deepawali is not Jash-e-Riyaz. Such deliberate audacity will lead to economic loss. Apart from him, BJP UP spokesperson Prashant Umrao also tweeted. He wrote, "Fab India clothes are very expensive and become useless once washed, need to go to other brands.''
