Social networking site Facebook promises to make political advertisements transparent. Through this, Facebook will allow users of social network users to obtain other important information including identification of advertisers and their status. This move of Facebook has been taken just before the US Congress hearing on November 1. In the hearing, tech veterans including Facebook will be questioned about the Russian intervention in the 2016 presidential election. 

Facebook advertisements vice-president Rob Goldman said in a statement Friday, "Advertisers who want to run advertising related to the election. Now we will need all the documents. ' Goldman further said, "We will start with the United States elections and later we will move towards elections and additional competitions in the elections and jurisdictions in other countries."

Under the process of collecting documents, advertising advertisements may need to be identified to run election-related advertisements. Once verified, advertisers must disclose all their election-related ads. 

Goldman said that when you click on 'Disclosures', you will be able to see the full details of the advertiser. Like other advertisements on Facebook, you'll be able to explain why you saw that particular ad Facebook said that it is going to bring a feature soon, allowing the user to view any page of Facebook. Also, users will be able to see which ad is running on which page they are running.

Goldman said, "We will start this trial from Canada and will implement this feature by the summer before the mid-term elections in America next month in November next year. Along with the US, we will implement it in other countries. " 

In the United States in 2016, the presidential election was accused of influencing the election by taking money from Russia on Google and Twitter, including Facebook. It is going to be heard in Congress next week, where they have to clear their position on alleged charges of providing a platform to Russia for allegedly influencing the elections.
