Mumbai: You must have seen the Bollywood film 'Oh My God' in which a character named Kanji Bhai sues God. A story similar to the story of this film is fast going viral on social media these days. In fact, this story relates to a nun in Poland. It is said that this nun had sued the ISKCON temple questioning the character of Lord Krishna. According to the post going viral, a nun had accused Lord Krishna of not being considered a role model for having 16,008 marriages. Citing the same, the nun had filed a case against the ISKCON temple. According to the post, the judge ruling the case had said that girls swore that from today they consider Jesus Christ as their husband when they become nuns all over the world. Accordingly, if millions of nuns became wives of Jesus Christ, can they also be called characterless? Keeping these facts in mind, the judge had dismissed the case relating to the ISKCON temple.

A collage of two photos is also being shared with this story going viral on social media. On the one hand, there is Lord Vishnu in the collage, on the other hand, there is a young woman dressed as a nun. The post attempts to say that the same nun had sued the ISKCON temple. But Fact Check of this viral post, it was found that the story of Poland's nun suing the ISKCON temple was completely baseless and false. There is no evidence of any such lawsuit being filed against any branch of the ISKCON temple.

A search through keywords revealed that the story of Poland's nun's case at the ISKCON temple is a blank rumor. It has been shared on different websites, blogs, and social media posts for more than a decade. More importantly, most websites have copied and pasted the story. The same English-language sentences have been used everywhere, with commas and full stops being placed in one place. If such an incident had really happened, international media websites would have published reports in this regard. But instead of any major media institution, the news is only going viral on social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook.
