Failed student commits suicide in private NEET coaching center's scholarship exam

Coimbatore: A Class XI student allegedly committed suicide after failing to score in the scholarship exam conducted by a private NEET, JEE coaching center in Coimbatore. Police sources said a private institute, which conducts coaching classes for all India entrance exams like NEET and JEE, across India. In that student appeared for scholarship exam to get seat in two year class.

It is said that he committed suicide by hanging himself in his room on Friday night for not scoring good marks in the examination. Also the parents had allegedly questioned him about Marx. Police said that Saibaba Colony police has taken the body in possession and sent it to CMCH for postmortem. Similarly, the suicide of an 18-year-old girl student in Tamil Nadu's Ariyalur district a day after giving NEET had created political tension in the southern state.
 
Similarly, in another incident, the main opposition AIADMK targeted the government, while Chief Minister MK Stalin moved a resolution. Bill to abolish NEET and provide admission to medical courses on the basis of class 12 marks to ensure social justice. The AIADMK blamed the DMK regime for the death and the state government targeted the Centre.
