Indore: Fake drugs and injections continue to be sold even after strict rules. Even now, this business is going on at a rapid pace. Now, recently, the police have busted a gang that was doing the job of making and selling injections of fake remdesivir. In fact, in 700 remdesivir injections sold in Indore and Jabalpur, 660 injections have been accounted for by the police. Police are now ascertaining the remaining 40 injections. The police are said to have reached Surat in Gujarat to investigate the case.

Police have seized 700 fake remdesivir injections from a farmhouse here. It is said to include glucose and salt. In fact, the police have also found some broken injections here. At the same time, on strict interrogation, accused Kaushal Vora has revealed that he has earned Rs 1.85 crore in just 5 days by selling fake injections along with other accused. It has also been reported that the entire earnings were kept in his house. 

It has also been revealed that the accused Kaushal along with his partner Puneet Shah had sold injections of about 1 lakh remdesivirs across the country. It has also come to light that profiteers had started a fake injection business in Mumbai as well. Well, if you all remember, there were many such cases during the corona peak when fake injections were being sold to the needy even at a higher price.
