Her latest single titled ‘O Sajna’ is receiving backlash as it happens to be a rendition of Falguni Pathak’s iconic song ‘Maine Payal Hai Chhankai’ and even the original singer Falguni Pathak took a dig at Neha on her Instagram stories. 

As soon as it catches the eyes of people they started trolling him. On Instagram, several fans had tagged both Neha and Falguni in their posts as they showed their dislike for the new song. Falguni had shared several of the posts on Instagram Stories, without writing or adding anything from her side. One of the User wrote, “Stop torturing us with your voice and with the remakes.” Falguni Pathak didn’t right anything but shared the story on her instagram.

In an interview when Falguni was asked about her fans disappointment with the song and their love for original version. Falguni said,"I feel overwhelmed and touched on receiving so much love from all over for the song, so had to share their feelings,” When asked if she is planning on taking the legal route against song, she said, "I wish I could but the rights are not with me."

Speaking about the original song Maine Payak Hai Chankai, The song was released in 1999 and it featured actors Vivan Bhatena and Nikhila Palat. The song was played out as a puppet show in a college fest. The song was a massive hit. The new version was unveiled recently. apart from Neha herself. Tanishk Bagchi, who is known for recreating old hit Hindi songs, has composed the song. It featured Priyank Sharma and Dhanashree Verma have featured in the music video of 'O Sajna'.
