Bhopal: Bollywood actor Vijay Raj, stayed at Gondia's Hotel Gateway for the shooting of the film Sherni in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh, has been arrested by the Gondia Police. The shooting of film 'Sherni' in Balaghat has been going on for the past 15 days, in which actress Vidya Balan is playing the lead role and is busy shooting in the jungles of Balaghat.

Comedian Vijayaraj is also playing a role in the film, who became famous with the role of Kaura Biryani and Blouse Baba. He has been arrested for molestation by the Gondia Police of Maharashtra. According to information received from the Gondia police, film actress Vidya Balan, Vijay Raj and several actors are staying in Gondia's Hotel Gateway and go to Balaghat for daily shooting.

On the night of 2 November, Vijay Raj molested a young woman, whose report was written by the girl at Ramnagar police station. After this incident, Gondia Police arrested Vijayraj by reaching the 3 Star Hotel 'The Gateway'. On giving information, the SHO of Ramnagar said that while registering a case under section 354, Vijay Raj was produced in the court today, where he has been granted bail after depositing an amount of Rs 15,000. Assistant Police Inspector Tidekar is investigating this case.
