Rajinikanth undoubtedly enjoys massive fan following across the country and admirers of the celebrated actor wait for hours to catch that one glimpse of their ‘Thalaivar’. Last month Rajinikanth had left for the US for a health check-up with his family and their pictures from the Chennai airport had gone viral on the internet. And now as the actor returned home after a month-long visit, fans were seen cheering for him at the airport.

A viral video captures Rajinikanth walking amid massive security while fans greet him chants of ‘Thalaivar’. Rajinikanth was snapped in a simple blue shirt and denims as he arrived home. The actor greeted his fans with folded hands and appreciated their love. While in US, Rajinikanth was spotted exiting a medical facility with his wife Aishwarya Dhanush. Rajinikanth's son-in-law and actor Dhanush was also with them in US, since he was shooting for his Hollywood film there. Before heading to the US for his health check-up, Rajinikanth had taken both the doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Previously, Lyricist Vairamuthu had shared an update about Rajinikanth’s medical visit on Twitter. He had revealed details about his phone call with Rajinikanth and shared that Thalaivar’s medical check-up went very well and that he sounded confident and healthy.

On the work front, Rajinikanth is expected to resume work on his upcoming Telugu drama 'Annaatthe'. He has to dub for the film, which is being readied for release on November 4, coinciding with the festival of Diwali. Directed by Siruthai Siva, 'Annaatthe' also features Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Khusbu, Meena, Soori, Sathish, and several others in pivotal roles.
