Uttarakhand: Today, there is devastation due to the breaking of glacier in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Seeing this devastation, the farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has given his response. Recently he has promised to help. He is the spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana. Recently, he said in a statement, "We will work with the administration to provide all possible help to the people".


He said, "The glacier is broken in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. According to the report, 50-60 people have been killed there. Water is wreaking havoc, there has been an alert everywhere in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand." Rakesh Tikait has been agitating against agricultural laws for more than 70 days. But along with him, thousands of farmers are also stuck on various borders of Delhi. The agitating farmers are demanding that the new agricultural laws be withdrawn and the MSP be enacted. Talking about Uttarakhand, the breaking of a glacier in the Rishiganga Valley of Chamoli district here today created a possibility of flooding in the Alaknanda and its tributaries. After that, the alert was issued in the Garhwal region.

On the other hand, the state NDRF DIG, Riddhim Agarwal said, "More than 150 workers working in the Rishiganga energy project are probably directly affected by this natural disaster." The apprehension is that flowing 100-150 people have died due to this. He also said, "The representatives of the energy project have told me that they are not in contact with the 150 workers present at the project site." The NDRF team and the district administration of the state have been alerted due to the floods in the lower areas of Chamoli district.
