Farmers' Protest: BJP in trouble resorts to 'Captain of Congress'

Farmers' organizations are continuously increasing the problems of the Central government on the postponement of new agrarian reform laws. So far all efforts made to end the disputes with the peasant organizations have proved useless. Efforts to enumerate the goodness of agricultural laws through PowerPoint presentations to farmers have also gone in vain. The farmers have made it clear that they have come to Delhi not to know the goodness of agricultural laws but to postpone them.

The government had agreed to make some amendments in the agricultural laws, thinking that the anger of the farmers would cool down, but now the farmers' organizations have called for a special session of the Lok Sabha to postpone the reverse law. The demands of the farmers are not limited only to postpone agricultural legislation or to guarantee the MSP of two crops.

MSP is being demanded on more than 20 other crops as well, whereas the truth is that MSP has nothing to do with these laws. Even after this, farmers are now demanding that MSP be put into legal practice. BJP, on the other hand, may try to resort to Captain Amarinder Singh to end the farmers' agitation. Although the BJP has not yet directly resorted to Captain Amarinder Singh to cool the anger of the farmers, but sources related to the BJP are telling that the BJP can take any step to deal with the situation. Since assembly elections are to be held in Punjab in the year 2022, the party is making strides. A single wrong step can shatter his intentions. The BJP is suffering a lot in Punjab due to the existence of agricultural laws.
