New Delhi: A statement has emerged from Samyukt Kisan Morcha on the construction of pucca houses along the Singhu and Tikri border in the national capital. A meeting of 32 farmers unions in Punjab has decided that no permanent house should be constructed at the protest site. Several leaders of the United Kisan Morcha have arrived in West Bengal to campaign for the election. Voters are being urged not to vote for the anti-farmer BJP.

Today, a delegation of Samyukt Kisan Morcha addressed the Mahapanchayats in Singur and Asansol. Out of 151 farmers arrested in different FIR cases along with violence at the Red Fort, 147 have so far been released on bail. Many of those released have returned to the movement sites. Four farmers (three from Punjab and one from Haryana) are awaiting bail. Ranjit Singh of Punjab, who was arrested on January 29, 2021, whose bail plea was rejected, will now apply to the High Court.

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha has said that after a debate on the farmers' movement in the United Kingdom's House of Commons, a discussion could take place in Australia's House of Representatives, which could raise the matter in the House by a petition.
