New Delhi: Today 100 days of the peasant movement on the border of Delhi, the capital of the country, have been completed. On the completion of 100 days of this movement, on Saturday, the black day will be celebrated along with a 5-hour blockade of Kundali Manesar Palwal (KMP) Expressway. Apart from this, there will be traffic jams on Dasna, Duhai, Baghpat, Dadri, Greater Noida. All the farmers will protest by tying a black band. Toll plazas will also be made free.

Apart from Delhi, farmers' agitation has been going on in Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh for 87 days. The police administration has so far neither allowed them to set up tents nor provided any other help. A mahapanchayat was organized here on March 3 and 4, after which tents have been allowed to be set up. There is a plan to conduct mahapanchayat in Madhya Pradesh in the coming time. The leaders of the United Kisan Morcha paid tribute to Kirti Kisan Union and (late) Comrade Datar Singh for their rich contribution to the movement.

Comrade Datar Singh, the head of the Kirti Kisan Union, died on 21 February 2021 after a heart attack in Amritsar during a public meeting. The farmers are protesting against the three new agricultural laws brought by the government and demanding their withdrawal.
